Our Mission
As a global contract research organization, headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, AsisChem serves the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in the area of new drug research and discovery.
Hundreds of organizations have used AsisChem’s services since its inception in 2003. More than half of AsisChem’s current customers are pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and we are a preferred partner for dozens of universities and non-profit institutions world wide.

Our Experts
AsisChem’s synthetic team of chemists has three core groups: medicinal chemistry support, process optimization and research. Our internationally trained chemists work on custom projects designed specifically for the needs of each client. AsisChem also maintains an extensive catalog of building blocks and readily available screening compounds.

Leadership Team
Ilya Kuchuk, Ph.D.
As the Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Dr. Kuchuk leads AsisChem’s senior management team in setting the company’s strategic direction, while engaging directly with customers and partners from around the world. He has over twenty years of experience in industry and university research with an extensive background in general management and business development. His prior experience includes his work for Starks Associates where he excelled in process development and preparation of drug candidates and became an expert in a variety of custom projects. He also worked for Scoros International, Inc. managing dedicated R&D operations for its clients and served as a President of ILLA International, world leader in licensing of phenol technologies. Dr. Kuchuk received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from St. Petersburg State University, followed by postdoctoral trainings and fellowships at Göttingen University, the Ohio State University and University of Indiana, Bloomington.
